Sprint confirms unlimited data on iPhone 5
Service provider Sprint Nextel is putting all its chips into its unlimited data plan, and will continue offering it on the iPhone 5 when its releases later this year. This would be the only service provider to still continue with unlimited data as Verizon and AT&T have both stopped and started charging extra for increased amounts.
If the iPhone 5 is released with LTE which many believe it will, Sprint will still continue to offer their no-strings attached unlimited data plan. Dan Hesse, CEO of Sprint Nextel told CNET that they planned on continuing their unlimited plan to stay diverse and try to win the market from there expensive competitors.
Dan Hesse has a clear path for its company and even says that their unlimited plan is “our distinctive differentiator”. He also believe that the decision to stay with the unlimited plan has already helped the company extremely well, drawing new customers that normally would not have made the switch.
